Our Technology

Optomap Daytona Retinal Imaging

OCULUS Keratograph 5M

Advanced Corneal Topographer that greatly enhances our diagnostic ability when it comes to dry eye and other ocular surface pathologies.

Zeiss iProfiler allows us to measure all irregularities in your visual system and allows us to make glasses lenses much more accurately than ever before.

This allows us to digitally image most of the structures of the inside of your eye, analyze the image on an LCD screen, and save the images for future comparison.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is the most valuable advance in retinal imaging in the last half century.  It aids in our ability to diagnose and treat many retinal diseases, especially ARMD, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Glaucoma!  Added to our practice in 2014 and upgraded in 2018, this technology constantly awes us with its ability to help us manage ocular disease.

At Newberry Vision Center, we utilize the latest technology in every aspect of our office. From our pretesting and diagnostic equipment to our dispensary and lens technologies, every aspect of your experience with us will be positively affected with the most modern equipment. See below for a brief description of some our most recent additions.

This is an instrument we utilize in our optical dispensary. It allows precise measurement of pupillary distances and allows more perfect alignment of progressive lenses in all frame styles and shapes.

It also allows us to photograph our patients with new frame style options and display the photos on a LCD screen, up to four new styles at once!  No more "hoping" the frame you picked out will look good; you can see for yourself!
